Ever sat through a slideshow that felt like it would never end? This class teaches you how to create photo presentations that feel like short films - evocative, elegant, and emotionally engaging. You’ll learn how to choose images that work well together, arrange them for pacing and flow, and add subtle transitions and music for cinematic impact.
We’ll explore how mixing still images with short video clips can dramatically increase viewer
connection and narrative power. You’ll see how to use timing and sequencing to elevate your
story - whether you're sharing travel memories, celebrating a life event, or showcasing a
portfolio.
We’ll use several tools to help you build stunning shows, including:
• Canva – Best for visual marketing and storytelling, with AI tools like Magic Design to
generate content from prompts and a vast template library.
• Capcut – An amazing video editing and production app - and it’s free!
• Filmora – A user-friendly video editor that offers powerful tools and stylish templates,
perfect for crafting elegant slideshows without the learning curve of pro-level software.
We’ll also cover sound - where to find royalty-free music that enhances your show without
copyright worries. We'll look at paid sources like Envato and Motion Array, and free resources such as the YouTube Audio Library and Pixabay. You’ll leave with the knowledge to craft slideshow experiences that feel polished, emotional, and unforgettable - with your photography front and center every time.
