Florida is known as the Horse Capitol of the World! Your instructor, Lisa Langell, is a highly acclaimed photographer known for not only her nature photography, but her horse and cowboy imagery! Experience the grit, skill, and motion of Florida cowboys and cowgirls during this hands-on action photography field session. Designed for beginner through advanced photographers, this immersive class focuses on capturing real movement as it happens, from subtle gestures to fast-paced action. You’ll learn how to anticipate
moments, adapt to shifting light and conditions, and make confident camera decisions in
the field. Whether you’re freezing split-second action or creatively embracing motion, this
session emphasizes storytelling, authenticity, and the unique character of Florida’s
ranching heritage, giving you the opportunity to create dynamic images that feel alive and
intentional.
Gear List: DSLR or Mirrorless cameras are recommended. Lens length (for DSLR or
Mirrorless cameras): 70-200mm, or 100-400mm, 24-70mm or similar are all suggested. Tripod optional.
